I'd go further, and say that ALL life is a world of allocations! We're doing allocations every second of every day, already. The question, is whether we allocate resources (and responsibility for respecting sustainability thresholds) in fair, just, and proportionate ways, or in unfair, unjust, disproportionate ways.

Our current economy does the latter, relying on the "invisible hand". We advocate for transcending this paradigm. We believe humans are fully capable of allocating in ways that respect all humanity, and all life.
